Friday Fun (6)

Posted September 7, 2012 in Uncategorized / 14 Comments

Just a heads up, I won’t be posting next weekend probably at all.  I am going on a much needed vacation with my boyfriend to Rehoboth Beach, since he has a rare Friday off!

What book(s) are you reading right now?  What do you think of it?

I’m reading Anna Dressed in Blood and Divergent.  I haven’t been able to read Anna at night, because it’s been freaking me out.  So I’ve been reading Divergent at night.  I just started Divergent so I don’t know what to think, but Anna is pretty creepy, but good so far!

 The Friday 56 (5)

The Friday 56 is a weekly meme hosted by Freda @ Freda’s Voice.  The rules:
*Grab a book, any book.
*Turn to page 56.
*Find any sentence, (or few, just don’t spoil it) that grabs you.
*Post it.

Then hop over to her page and link up!

 This week’s book is:

Anna Dressed in Blood
Series: Anna #1
Author: Kendare Blake

The quote:
“‘On my way up the porch steps I hear him roll down his window and ask awkwardly if I’m going to be at the Edge of the World party.  I don’t say anything.  Seeing those deaths shook him up pretty good.”

This book is creepy.  That’s pretty much all I got to say.

Until Next Time

  1. Anna Dressed in Blood is creepy! But I could never get into it, and never finished it. I so wanted to like it, because I love a good ghost story, but I didn’t really like Cass that much.

Have you read Texas Gothic? That is fun ghost story. Well, kind of ghost story.

    Happy reading. 🙂
